ECOWindS (The European Clusters for Offshore Wind Servicing) builds on existing networks within offshore wind energy to establish cluster cooperation in Offshore Wind Servicing (OWS). OWS is a distinct subsector of the offshore wind industry and encompasses the industrial processes of assembly, installation, operation and maintenance of offshore wind facilities.
The final version of the ECOWindS' major result – The Joint-Action-Plan (JAP) – can now be downloaded.
It presents a plan of action or a roadmap for research, development, and innovation (RDI) for the Offshore Wind Service (OWS) industry.
All deliverables can be found under "Publications"
The ECOWindS Final Conference has successfully been carried out on the 29th of September at the OrbisEnergy Conference Room in Lowestoft, UK. More than 100 delegates discussed ECOWindS results and exchanged about innovation in offshore wind servicing.
The ECOWindS final conference
The survey seeks your feedback to assist the consortium in refining the JAP before its final publication in summer 2015.
The survey has three main blocks:
1. Evaluating the goals of the Offshore Wind Service industry
2. Evaluation of the proposed actions for the Joint Action Plan
3. Proposals for further action
We appreciate your participation in evaluating the proposed actions that will take the Offshore Wind Service Industry towards future success.
Participation is purely voluntary.
